Worming puppies

Puppies are born with worms, and need worming regularly to rid them of these parasites.  Panacur Paste, is easy to measure and dispense as it comes in it’s own graduated syringe.  The dosage is 1 graduation per 1kg bodyweight, given on 3 consecutive days.  It is recommended that puppies are treated at 2 weeks, 5 weeks and 8 weeks.

After that puppies should be wormed monthly until 6 months of age, then 3-monthly for the rest of their life.

I use Drontal wormer for my adult dogs, at the dose of 1 tablet per 10kg bodyweight.

This ensures as far as possible that dogs are free from internal parasites.
