Happy Christmas from Scamp and his New Family

Scamp – update

Last Sunday we had a Christmas market in the village where the shop is. All the shops and restaurants were open along with a visiting Santa’s grotto, jazz band and rides for the children. There was a great community atmosphere with over 3000 visitors. My shop was really busy (luckily Derek came with me), but the greatest draw was Scamp dressed up in his little red coat and Christmas collar with bells!

He does seem to have settled in very well with no further ‘pushing the boundary issues’. He is an absolute sweetie and everyone who meets him can’t believe he is an older chap.

Scamp in his New Home – update

He has settled really well into his routine both at home and in the shop. He loves his daily walks, lazy days snoozing in his bed in the shop – getting up only when customers offer him some fuss which is usually followed by cries of ‘he’s so cute!’

Scamp has been really good in his new home – ignoring the cats, having a good night-time routine, is eating well, enjoying his walks and settling in well at his owner’s shop. We had another lovely day yesterday. Short walk followed by a trip to Pets at Home where the staff made a great fuss of him with a few treats and hugs. He certainly is a people-puller!
