Before and during the whelping we use a homoeopathic “birthing pack” supplied by Charles Barrett, our homoeopathist, which contains remedies and treatments for most – if not all – possible eventualities connected with the birthing process eg., uterine inertia, lack of milk, little maternal instinct (common following a C-Section), mastitis etc..

Puppies Have New Collars

The new owners of 2 of our puppies have brought collars for them. Merlin, our black & tan boy now sports a purple collar, and Cynders, one of the ruby girls, has a black collar. See if you can spot them on our webcam.

Cyda Hopefully Pregnant?

I know that it’s a bit early to tell, but Cyda was mated 8/9th February to Toby, and I’m as sure as I can be that she’s pregnant. She’s quite clingy and rests a lot “Pregnant Spaniels must Rest!” – then the next minute she leaps onto the window sill to bark as a passing dog!
