Skully has been showing the odd sign that she is pregnant since her mating with Drummer, and being a first-time mating it is more difficult to predict how things will go. However, now she is in the last 2 weeks, she is either having just one or two puppies , or she is not pregnant. Time will tell. She is due on 30th November, so if nothing has happened by 2 December, I guess we will have to wait until next season. This is very disappointing to us, and to the people who were interested in buying one of her puppies, but our friends in Bridlington have 2 bitches due in early December, so watch this space.

Hi Anne,
I do hope she is, but if not, will you be mating any other bitch or wait for Skully? Your friends in Brid, I presume their pups are spoken for?
My first cavalier Vickie was a rescue from a breeder friend of mine, who’s husband was living in Ireland married to another breeder of dogs, and she had to sell up. But gave me Vickie who was booked for mating in Sponden, which she did, and we finally had to call the vet as she was feigning birth and even he wasn’t convinced that she hadn’t one pup high up, till her gave her an injection to ease the pain. An she did no more than step out of the whelping box and go an get something to eat, he said she deserved an Oscar.
Regards H!
Ah bless, keep me posted xx
