Ebony

Ebony the black young female cat was rescued in an emaciated condition but was found to be otherwise healthy – and amazingly – Spayed!!!  We wormed and de-flea’d her and gave her lots of good food and attention.  She was found to be non-aggressive and would head-butt your hand when you went to stroke her.  see http://www.heronbank.co.uk/2011/06/rescue-of-the-week-ebony-black-cat/

She has put on weight and was patiently awaiting a new home.

On our return from holiday there was a message from a lady wanting to adopt her.  The lady had been referred by Donaldson & Partners, Vets, as she also is one of their clients.

Ebony is now in her new home, settling in slowly, as she hasn’t been in a home for a long time.  She has an indoor pen, her own scratching post, a rug, litter tray and food.  That was all the other animals can socialise without her feeling threatened.  The family go in and sit with her and it won’t be long until she is fully integrated.

Good Luck and Best Wishes in your new home, Ebony.
