Fin has, this week, just started taking his homoeopathic medications.
He immediately flared up, his skin became red and itchy and he couldn’t help but scratch. This lasted until lunch-time.
Whilst it is distressing both for Fin and for anyone who sees him, it’s actually a good sign and means that the medications are working. It’s known as Vicaration. It’s a “getting worse before it gets better” and once we have got through this stage, which hopefully should last only a few days, we should then start seeing an improvement.
