A German Shepherd dog has been rescued by Douglas Coastguard after it fell over the cliff at Groudle in the Isle of Man. The dog was apparently chasing a rabbit when it went over, and became wedged in a gully late on Wednesday afternoon, 4th January 2012. Two coastguard officers climbed down and recovered the animal, battling atrocious weather in the process. But the operation went well and the pet was reunited with its owner, unharmed.

I like a Happy Ending!
