Cat and kitten stories

Here’s our October Competition for you to enter.

We would like to hear your Cat Stories

 

  • How did you get your cat?
  • Do they have any strange habits?
  • Where do they like to sleep?
  • Pictures and Video’s showing their antics.
  • Any stories at all!

The best 3 stories will then star on the Facebook Cats and kittens in need in West Yorkshire banner for a whole month and win a cat toy!

Entries are £1 and all monies will go into our rescue fund to help pay vets bills for cats and kittens in need..

Payments can be made through PayPal on donations@heronbank.co.uk either through your paypal account or by credit or debit card. If you use the family and friends option, Heronbank Rescue will receive 100% of the money. Please mark your payment Cat Stories.

Here is one to start things off:

Whisper the KittenWe adopted Whisper from Farplace Animal Rescue two years ago. He was a tiny scrap of a kitten who was born feral, living in a barn and was taken into rescue at only 3 weeks of age when his mother was shot.

She managed to find her way back to the barn where the owners of the smallholding found her body and, realising she had milk, set about finding her kittens.

Whisper has grown into a very affectionate, fun loving cat, but is wary of strangers.

Here is a video of him discovering our Christmas Tree on his first Christmas.
